Front & Rear Parking Sensors

Featured Replies

As most of you know Ford want £300 plus for parking sensors however i know a personal friend that works for a company that has a contract with Peter Vardy if you would like to upgrade after purchase . Question is if i get these fitted to my Fiesta by this person will this void my 2 year remaining warranty due to it being an aftermarket and not direct from Ford ? I mean this person does deal with Peter Vardy so they must have some kind of protection with them ? I know tinted windows don't void your warrenty and thats proven unless the window is removed and door panels . But this is electrics so maybe ? Anyone know thanks

Not exactly electrics when its 1 wire to reverse and 1 to earth, how wrong can you get it. Iol, won't affect warranty unless it's proven the 2 wires have caused failure elsewhere by poor fitting. Easy money had from fitting parking sensors, drill 4 holes and connect 2 wires.

Thanks was just wondering you know what these dealerships are like anything to sting you out of money and avoid costs

I've got parking sensors front & rear and I'd recommend them anytime. The careless people I see reversing out of parking spaces and clouting the car next to them and driving off.

Was looking at these a bit back on the front as i have genuine reverse camera and sensors on back.

Would it be hard for ford to do and would it work throught the same system i have now ( turn beeps off on menu)

Exactly how my car got damaged.. Still, reversing into spaces is generally easier and requires far less guess work. Coming out of them then is also trouble free...
