New Facelift St Ambient Lighting

Featured Replies

Evening all

Forgive me if this post/topic has been raised before. :/

Any new facelift focus st owners out there able to give me an insight into the ambient light.... Colour, location bulbs etc.

I've seen a video on youtube where someone changed the lighting to that flexi led strip lighting u can get with a remote and could have pretty much any colour. :)

I changed the ceiling and footwell bulbs in my fiesta zetec s to blue and looked pretty awesome at night with candy blue paintwork :)

Have my focus ST3 on order - 10weeks ETA :( too excited :)

Thanks in advanced :)

All ambient lights in the ST are LED of the in-built strip type.

Unless you are handy with a soldering iron and can redo SMD LEDs then you won't be able to change the colour.

That said, for the footwell lighting, you could just unplug the LED board and wire in to the 12V feed supplying them.

Thanks guys... That's what my thoughts were with the whole idea of changing them. :/

We will see 10 weeks to wait at least anyways
