Mk 1.5 Focus Slow And Steady Project

Featured Replies

Hi guys.. I'm going to slowly be upgrading my focus so thought I'd start a build thread now, in case things get a bit out of hand and I regret not doing one sooner :P

So I bought myself a focus a few days ago, it's a 2003 1.6 and I'm more than happy with it, it's had 2 previous owners and only has 45k on the clock, completely standard and runs like a dream, got a few nicks around the outside but only cosmetic and nothing major, no rust which was nice to see, this biggest problem with this car was the fact that you had a chance of decapitating yourself every time you went into the boot as one of the struts was naffed, but a few days for delivery and < 5 mins work and that risk is gone :)

Current modifications

Interior

New floor mats with 'Focus' stitched into them

Exterior

White side lights and main beam, LED number plate lights and Osram Nightbreakers dipped beam.

Black RS2000 alloys (need to buy new tyres and refurb before fitting)

Tinted Wind deflectors

Performance

K&N air filter

Plans

Refurb and fit wheels

Upgrade stereo (ideally a DVD player)

Install puddle lights

Currently trying to find the location of my camera so I can take some snaps!

Thanks for reading and all C+C welcome!
