Where Is The Best Place To Get Service Parts??

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I do about 20K a year, and have just bought myself a 2.0tdci Focus titanium.

It is due a service, but I was wondering where you folk get your service parts from?

Also, I will no doubt get a K and N/pipercross air filter, anybody have any opinions on which are better?

It is the cylinder type filter in my car.

Also, any recommendations for Oil?

If anybody recommends Halfrauds, then I will visit you in the small hours, and write VAUXHALL across your bonnet!!! B) B)

People probably will recommend Halfords as signed up members get a discount there. I personally buy my service parts from Ford.

My car has a K&N filter. I have never tried another brand as i like them. Lenny has a guide on here regarding air filters on his diesel.

I get my parts from here, http://www.fordpartsuk.com/shop/ford_focus_parts/ford_focus_mk2_parts_55/

or if you have a dealer close by that also sells parts, you should get it from there too.

for oil, use Ford's Formula E 5w-30 or Castrol Magnatec 5w30 A1. both are the same
