Sharing A Bluefin Superchip?

I was wondering if anyone knew if it is possible to use a bluefin Superchip on two separate fiestas of the exact same model? I'm wanting to install the chip on my MK7.5 and my mates about to get the same car on Monday. Just wondered if we can split the cost and both get the install?

    It doesn't work that way.

    In order to put the map onto your car it has to be swapped over with your original configuration.

    If you plugged it into your mates car all that would be on the unit is your original boggo standard set up.

    Superchips isn't daft enough to make it that easy for you.

    I'm sure that is what happens but bluefin can reset it for £100? Just means one of you's couldn't go back to standard

    They will only reset a handset if you send them back the modified map, which means you must put your original one back on the car.
