got a 56 plate St and wondering if I should put a dump valve on it. Will they work with a standard engine and turbo ?

If I do get then do I need other bits or do they go in same place as current one ?

Brrrrppp tisshhhh! Get one although your fuel bill will go up as you will find yourself accelerating so youre on boost so it will blow off changing gear just as your passing people. Its sad i know but i bet you will do it!:)

I was advised to fit either a Collins or forge one, at the end of the day you get the noise that's about it , lots and lots about it on the ST owners club forum.

I fitted the K&N 57S-4000 kit open end filter (E-9289) and you get the blow off amplified with that.

Yes that's very true , just gotta make sure heat soak isn't an issue .

It has seemed fine on mine as its not a full on open induction filter. Plenty of info available so i wont go on about it on this dump valve thread.:)
