hi am new to the forum and I have owned my 2009 focus for 2 years and love it but I was thinking about buying a ford focus St 3 on a 08 plate but I could do with some helpful tips on buying the right car and also friends have tried to put me off buying one for a while saying they drink fuel but some one from work has one and says it's not as bad as people make out

    Welcome to the site Alan. Just dont expect 40mpg+ and you will enjoy it, its a car for fun not economy! I get 36mpg out of my 1.6 Ecoboost Zetec S 180bhp and thats with little blasts and short journeys.

    hi and welcome I get about 25 m.p.g out of mine but as said thy are for speed not fuel economy get it you all enjoy it trust me
