Battery Light Issue - Ford Focus Black

Hi all. Just need some advice on a problem in having incase anyone experienced same issue.

My car starts fine. After 30 minute journey my battery light will come on for couple seconds then off. It does this a couple times with couples minutes in between. Not sure I its also related but when doing 40mph and slowing down to 30mph it makes a slight revving noise, similar to that when your speeding up and need to change gear.

I've done a check at night with lights off and turning things on in car to see if battery light dims atall but nothing.

I know it could be numerous things ie loose wire, belts, alternator.

Just looking to see if anyone had this problem and what the diagnoses was.
