all i have left to do gloss black is the fog light grills before i start this thought id better check

do i remove the chrome lip on the light then remove the grill ?

    It's easier to take the full fog grill off then remove the chrome ring, the fog covers should just pull off of you can et your fingers behind a corner,

    no I took the whole cover off first then it's easier to get you fingers behind the ring to poo it off, you shouldn't have to use too much pressure to get the ring of.
