07 Mondeo mk4 2.5t Various power issues

Featured Replies

Hi

Thanks in advance for any help.

I recently bought an 07 mondeo mk4 2.5t and I am having a few issues and before going back to the dealer I want to try and get a picture of what might be wrong so he cant just fob me off.

My issues are

1: Vibration throught the accelerator pedal in 1st gear, happens once just after moving off. Wont happen again until next time the engine is started

2: loss of power in various gears at various speeds, kind of like someone presses the break, only lasts for a second or two

3: Complete loss of power at 5000rpm in 3rd, fine again after changing gear. This has happened just once so far.

Thanks

Don
