10dawson
Hi guys, My Fiesta has started making a whistling sound before it comes to a stop? The car is a 2015 plate and only just 6 months old. Anybody know what it might be? I've asked my local garage to have a look but they've said it will avoid the warranty (maybe) if they take the wheels off and have a look. Could it be the break pads? Could it just need greasing up? Let me know what you think guys - I'm so bad with cars! -_- Thanks! :D :D
E5GDM
Brakes normally squeal or screech if they need replacing, but just getting them checked out by a local garage won't void the warranty. If you're that worried take it back to the dealer to check it out.
griffo1997
The pads will need deglazing ask for that under warranty and they can't turn around and say drive away there is no problem when it blatantly squeals its "blatant swearing" off, there is no harm in them doing it I had one in not long ago for the same problem I cleaned the carriers and all the clips and deglazed the pads and applied more copper grease and no more squealing
