Magnetic Sump Plug For Mk1 Focus?

I don't think so,since the sump plug nut is a 13mm for the MK1.

Just looking at a standard one on Amazon it says the spanner size is 13mm the bolt thread is M14?

i use one of those (not this exact one) on my mk2 and its a 14mm socket instead of the 13mm used in the normal one.

yes i would recommend one if you can find the correct one as it holds all the metal fragments in the metal end when you drain the oil.

I'm changing the oil next week,I will measure it.The plug is only 2.99 so you could just take a punt.

Yeah I did end up ordering one but spent a whole £4.95 because I wanted it in black :D

From what I can see all Focus sumps seem to use M14 x 1.5mm. Whether the bolt head is 14mm or 13mm I don't think it should make a difference.......I hope!

The size of the bolt head on the sump plug is irrelevant really. I could machine you a sump plug with a 20mm hex if you really wanted..

Providing the thread size is correct is all that matters. The original ford sump plugs use a bonded rubber seal where as your magnetic one uses a washer.
