Battery Issue

hey folks hope someone can help me . I own a 2007 Ford Focus 1.8 tdci and battery is decharging after a week ( was on holiday for a week left car at home came back car wouldn't kick over ) battery's goosed I think it shouldn't lose a charge after a week surely ?. I was wondering can anyone recommend a decent diesel battery ?

ok sorry I think they are a special type so I would get a new one from a moto factors

Silver calcium battery Bosch s4 etc are good ones available on ebay if the battery has a dead cell it wont hold a charge if you do the dash test you cam check the voltage

Bosch S4 or S5 if you want to go the whole hog, I think Varta batteries are just rebadged Bosch so they're a good choice if you can fidn 1 cheaper than the Bosch equivalent.

Well the Bosch batteries u mentioned don't have the amp output the Varta battery the Varta has a higher amp output which is what diesels need

I got the s5 from halfords (around the same price) and comes with a 5 year warranty.

it looks identical to the Varta one so maybe it really is a bosch rebage?

it is exactly the same battery, even the external casings are identical. They're made in the same factory, I'd just go for whichever of the 2 you can get the cheapest TBH.
