Warning Lights

Featured Replies

Daft question of the day. Should something get unplugged, for instance MAF sensor, EGR valve connections etc, should I expect the EML to light up pretty much immediately? I'm sure the car isn't telling me something - unplugged both the above, went for a quick 5 minute spin and no warnings, no codes, nothing. Self test all the lights appear to illuminate OK. Only issue that comes up is NVRAM EEPROM fail or similar which is apparently quite common.

Anything to be concerned about? Waiting for my code reader to turn up, should have been here 2 days ago :|

Never mind, after 5 miles it turned on :)

Got my code reader today, not much light being shed though!

3 codes: u1900 CAN communication error, P0824 Gear Lever Y Posuition Sensor intermitten and P0405 EGR sensor A circuit low (disconnected)
