Hi I'm thinking of upgrading my air filter zetec s 2013 people are telling me k&n just wanted to see people's opinion and if anyone knows how much bhp k&n increases

K&N are well respected and you would be lucky to see any BHP increase (or at least anything you would actually notice), however you may get a slightly better induction noise

waste of money, go buy yourself a beer or two with the money.

I put a k&n on my st the only thing it a bit more noise on high revs

Yeah there's no real performance gains, but I felt like mine helped the engine run more smoothly and like above, a touch more induction noise at high revs.

Well I have a K&N on my car but also the mountune induction too and better throttle response better noise and car generally feels a little more responsive

What people are doing is buying the K&N and porting the box at the bottom or away from the engine and getting same affect as me (need hoses too )

Remove any dead weight from the car, a few kg removed will be of more use than a fancy air filter.

Regardless of how heavy the car is to start with there is always something that can be removed lol.

Get me some slimcast too though
