As per the title I'm just curious to know where the microphone is located on the Sony radio/sat nav system?

Is it built into the unit? Up by the reading/map lights or some other place?

    The mk2 mic is up by the light unit, I assume the mk3 will be the same, look for a round recess with slots in it by the light unit.

    On the mk3 fl the mic is in the roof console where my sunglasses bin and alarm sensors/sub lights are.

    Thanks for the info, last hands free set I had was after market with a little black mic hanging just by rear view mirror.
