Torn between a 140 zetec s and 125 titanium x.

The car is for Mrs bubba but I will be driving sometimes.

Trying to find out if the zetec s has the same upgraded suspension that the red/black has?

If it has, will the ride be much difference between the S and the tit?

Will the power difference between the 2 be very noticeable?

Such a hard decision... :o/

The difference between the Red/Black and the 125 HP Tit. X is noticeable, but not night and day. The R/B have a lot of pros regarding styling, engine, handling, but the cabin is a bit noisier, esp. if you choose 17" rims. They're not uncomfortable, but you feel and hear more of the road surface.

Personally I love the way the red looks, Mrs is not so fussed over styling tho, but the reason I was looking at the "standard" 140 zetec S rather than the special edition is simply the fact power fold mirrors are not an option on red/black.

Was reading thro the red/black post on here and got the impression the zetec S 140 had different suspension to R/B which I didn't think was the case!

I'd choose a zetec s over a R/B just for the options.

If you love gadgets then the Titanium is definitely the way to go and a bit quieter inside. Mountune (ford approved) offer a power upgrade for the 125PS to 135bhp with better 0-60mph times than the 140PS ;)
