Bluefin Or Remap For Mk2 1.8 Tdci?

Featured Replies

Has anyone had any experience using a Bluefin on one of these 1.8 tdci in the mk2 focus? I've also got a fabia vRS and I had a custom remap on that but you cant buy the Bluefin units for them so am I better to go for a remap (I don't want some generic one though) or a Bluefin? Any recommendations on where to get a remap if that's the way to go?

Thanks

Ive used Bluefin on a Mondeo ST TDCi and was pleased with the results. I got a free reset from Superchips and got £250 back for it when i sold the car, you cant do that with a remap!:)

I also had Bluefin on my old ST TDCi & presently a bespoke version on my TXS & I wouldn't have anything else

Each to their own though

yep, bluefinned my focus 1.8 tdci, very happy with the results, i havent checked the exact output on a dyno but its a very good improvement. im hoping its between 130-140bhp now. ive also got a slight boost leak somewhere but it still pulls much better up the hills. definately can recommend it :)

also not sure if its related to the remap but ive also improved the mpg slightly

I want to get mine done but worried about clutch slip after having it done as I have a heavy right foot
