Mk3.5 Head Unit

Featured Replies

Hello everybody!

I've recently bought the Ecoboost Ford Focus 125ps - a nice, civilized and sophisticated ride. This made me want to add an amp and a sub into it, but at the very beginning I ran into a problem. Does anyone here has a guide or knows how to remove the head unit? The rest is fairly standard, but I cannot see any sort of gaps that would let me access the wiring.

Thanks in advance!

Simular to mk3, theres a trim between the front control interface module and the climate control panel, prise the trim off, then u need to remove the climate control panel away from dash to access the 2 screws im told, but from memory I think you can get the screws out without disturbing the climate controls panel

Hey, thanks for the replies.

It is quiet similar but not as straightforward, as it's just a flat piece of plastic that has 6 plastic clips from all the sides and needs something like a paint scrapper to remove.

Thanks again!
