Brake Squeal When Turning.

Featured Replies

Hi wonder if anyone could help me please?

I've had me fiesta for a week now but yesterday on the way home I noticed I am getting loud break squeal when turning regardless of speed..

I know it's had new brake pads and disks fitted by the garage prior me picking it up..

It's just the garage is 30 odd miles from me so if I can sort it myself and it's not going going cost much I may as well have a go at it..

Thanks

Stu

Probably just needs some copper slip/grease on the back of the pads.

I also find that some cheap and cheerful pads do this more than the branded ones.

Thanks for the reply Martin..

I will pop them out over the weekend and put some copper grease on them to see if it makes any difference..

Thanks again

Stu
