I Bought The Wrong Remote Central Locking Kit

Featured Replies

I bought a rightclick central locking kit. As I'm not very good with cars I thought central locking was remote lock, so the kit came with the 2 soldernoids for my 3 Dr fiesta mk6, does anyone know if you can still use the kit without actually using the soldernoids? I'd just need to know which wire would go to the unlock wire and which wire would go the the lock wire as they would originally go to the soldernoids, i have everything else sussed out

Still usable. I can't help you with the wiring though

So after around 2 hours I actually done it, I pressed lock and it locked both doors but as I clicked unlock it only unlocked drivers door. So I sat inside the car and locked it from the inside manually using the handle and only that one locked, so now my central locking is broke! I messaged right click last night seeing if I could still use the system as I got the soldernoids without actually needing them. They replied just as my central locking broke saying I could not use it and to send it back and I'd get a refund. But now I'm wondering if I should still use the soldernoids as I think I just broke mine. I checked the fuse and the fuse is working fine so I have no idea what happened, just my luck!
