Hey. I have a usb cd player I want to fit into car but standard factory cd player ain't same shape.

Any guides on fitting after market cd player please?

But im asking without buying new fascia

You will need to modify your fascia because of the way your current radio is fitted.

You need to cut out the seperator bars between the current radio's segments and fit a single din kit.

Why can't I remove and fit new stereo with some sort of spacer either side to fill gaps?

Ah ok it's cheaper than I thought as I assumed would need whole panel. So for that I chop cross bars off and fit that?

Yes.

Removing the current fascia is a bit long winded though.

There's hidden screws and heater control cables to faff with.

There are some very useful youtube videos on removal procedures.
