Less than £10? Bargain thanks mate. Is that a din changer too?

It changes it to a single din for your new radio with a storage cubby underneath. There may be double din available too but i didnt look for those. It is a bit of a pain to get your radio out. I had to swap one over years ago when i was a salesman as somebody had fitted a new unit like you are doing but the new buyer wanted it back original. Luckily we had a Fiesta going to the auctions so i swapped the lower dash back over because to fit the new radio you have to cut the 2 plastic slats that are between the 3 sections of the radio.

Will order that cos need dib changer anyway but just out of curiosity why can't I just cut the bars and fit mine in with extra space?

You probably could but it would look pants with a big gap all around it.:)

Without the fascia kit the radio will fall out.

Not if he packs it with cardboard and gaffa tapes it in or even better uses expanding foam to fill the void!:p

The factory radio doesn't use a cage. Hence no support for aftermarket steroes. Most radios include cages, which should fit in the mk6. You'll then need the fascia kit to tidy things up as there will be a 5mm gap all the way round

And a huge gap at either the bottom or top
