Bonnet will not fit without changing at least the bumper and lights.

Not sure what you mean by air ride?

Think '' air ride '' is the foam inflation canister in the boot ?

Sorry a few terms for it, it's when you put the car on bags instead of coils so when you park the car is sitting on the floor and when you start the car it lifts its self up to normal ride hight?

I was obviously mistaken ! :)

Never heard of air ride on a Fiesta - the old Citroen DS had a similar & frighteningly expensive to fix feature

You can get it for a mk6 but mk7 is coming soon apparently to some company I found just wanted to know how big the cylinder thing is before I bother saving for it haha

air ride is what all the hot rodders use on their cars now a days. If you watch Gas monkey they use it on just about all their builds! Basically adjustable suspension with the touch of a button by the driver!

Yeah that's it I want to know how big the canister thing is for it

no idea but I think they live in the boot of the hot rods? So might be a decent size?

No idea I'm hoping small so I can hide it else were I have no boot space haha

Don't do it ;)

Don't do it ;)

I'm missing something here. Why would you want to be able to do that to your car?.. I can understand lowering, to some extent, but where the body is on the ground practically I just don't get!

Saying that, I wouldn't mine dropping mine another couple of centimetres if I knew I could raise the front for going over speed bumps. In some car parks, I even hear a slight scrape as the front body kit just catches the tarmac before the car starts to climb. I'd dread to think what it would be like if it was lower...

This also coming from someone who lives in a relatively flat area...

Air ride installation requires a lot of modification to the car.

The bags take up more room than standard shocks and the arches need enlarging/deepening (known as tubbing).

The tanks are usually about the dimensions of a medium sized sports holdall, add to that all pipework, valves, wiring and pumps and you will lose about 40- 50% of boot space.

Ahh I don't have that boot space anymore so looks like adjustable coil overs now I have lowering springs on but want lower but just put a strut brace on which was a complete !Removed! on so that will be fun changing the suspension..

And as far as i know of, there is no reliable enough aftermarket kit, that can handle daily driving year after year, in hot&cold temps, without tearing several bags per year. Otherwise mine would all ready be sitting on bags. It would be nice be able ride low, but also get over those  speedbumps.
