Having bought a focus 1.6 3 door I would like to do a few little jobs on it. But I can not disconect the battery as I have no code for the radio. I have all the hand books etc but the radio book has had the code removed from the page (little tare off piece) so i'm hoping someone can help me. Any help on how to get the code would be great.

    Sharing of radio codes is expressly banned in this club.

    Your radio will have a M serial number on the label stuck to it.

    You need this number to gain the code from Ford.

    To get the serial without pulling the radio out-

    Turn on the unit

    Hold down buttons 6 and 1, and then release 6 (keep 1 pressed).

    The unit will then cycle through a load of data.

    The first screen ends with the serial number of the device:

    Mxxxxxx

    codes can be purchased on ebay for a few quid...ive got mine this way without any issues.
