Featured Replies

Can someone confirm if the MK1 Focus (facelift) ever had a bonnet liner?

My focus doesn't I also can't see anything on eBay, unless they are rare?

Can you confirm if this is the correct one at all? The description makes them seem a little unsure?

I'll check microcat for you shortly.

Bonnet liners were generally only fitted to diesel cars.

Great thanks! Panicked when I saw it was missing.

Wondering if there would be a benefit to adding one anyway? Noise reduction or something?

According to Microcat, any bonnet liner from the mk1/1.5 range will fit the full range.

The fitting clips should be plastic mushroom type ones.

Image shows the general range of build levels that liners were officially fitted to.

As you say, more to do with noise than anything else.

Thanks for looking! Nice to know it's not required but may get one anyway if it's going to help with noise just a little bit!
