Focus Mk3 Leak - Aircon?

Featured Replies

Hi guys.

I moved my Focus off the drive this morning to swap the cars
over and noticed a small patch of water underneath the car (approx 6cm wide) on
the driveway. It's in the same region as where you normally get the usual aircon
type "leak" when you park the car but it seems odd for this to have happened
when the car was cold. What do you guys think?

Condensation perhaps? There's an air con engineer on here that should be able to help

Are you sure it's water ?

  • Author

Yes definitely water

Was there condensation on the car this morning, some can trickle off roof/ windscreen and pool under car im sure.

Condensation off aircon and engine block.

Plenty of condensation around at night now.

Unless it's obviously engine fluids i wouldn't worry at all.
