Hi

Does any body know how to remove the aluminium effect covers on the steering wheel I am planing on changing them for a set of carbon effect covers.

I have a zetec s and it has three spokes to the wheel

just stuck on with double sided tape

If the covers you are getting are just shells then yeh they just stick on.

if they are like the ones I used to have then they are a direct swap for the original ones.

The top ones are clipped in place, lift up the outer edge first and wiggle them out from under the airbag cover edge (you will most likely break clips on the original ones).

Bottom one is in 2 pieces, you need to lever the front one off from the sides as it hooks over the rear one locking them in place (there is also a plastic pin between the halves which passes through the wheel spoke).
