Fords new sky blue colour option is near £800 now that's day light robbery no pun.

Ridiculous price for paint, but for an RS if thats the colour to have, they will charge you.. I much prefer the metallic Grey though

If you can afford one in the first place then another £800 for the colour you want is neither here nor there. Sadly they are well out of my reach financially, so is the £800 at the minute too!

A lot of the nice colours are that price across most manufacturers thought.

Tangerine Scream is 750 on the Focus ST.

Deep Impact Blue looks a little nicer than the blue on offer. The Stealth black is the best looking of those offered on the RS I think. Surprised there isn't more colours available really, nothing in the way of green/red/orange/yellow?

Given the paints put on as thin as ford can get away with its pretty steep

Even as expensive as they are, the fact that it is an RS guarantees that the demand will most definitely be there. I wouldnt think that they would introduce new colour options part way through the model year. Maybe with a future facelift you could see some new alternatives depending on feedback from customers.:)

Personally I think the Sky Blue looks awful, and they're charging extra for it!? While colour isn't the main factor in car choice, if I was paying £30k for one I'd want it in a nice colour...

any Car has to be Painted ! maybe we as customers should tell ford fine we will pay the £800 for this colour but you got to give us £1000 for not painting in the crappy colours you offer for free :D lol
