Rear Number Plate Bolt Size?

Anyone know the bolt size used to fix the rear number plates on? Mine are rusted so need to replace and find ones with a small enough head to use the coloured plastic caps.

I am guessing they are around M5 and 1" length?

    They are for sale on eBay for a couple of £ I recently replaced mine but mine were spinning in the fitting so ended up breaking them out which resulted in having to drill new holes, in other words a small job became a bigger one lol
