Focus Mk 2.5 Rear Bumper Question

hi all hope some body can help me please. want to fit a focus zetec s rear diffuser.

I have looked under the rear of my focus where the exhaust is and see there is what looks to be a screw each side but I have put a screw driver on there but it just keeps turning? so are they tabs that need prizing out with a flat bladed tool?

    They are usually scrivnuts.

    Twist with a screedriver whilst prying with a blade screwdriver between the 'screw' head and outer collar and the 'screw' will pull out (but do not pull fully out).

    Once the tension is released on the grippers then use a screwdriver or panel tool (like a small crowbar) to withdraw the whole thing.

    that's great help stoney cheers will have a go next weekend.

    sound quit straight forward.

    would you know if I would be ok to bound the rear diffuser on to the bumper with no more nails as I don't really want to be drilling holes to attach it to the bumper if I can help it .

    The usual bonding agent recommended is Tigerseal.

    Yes as stoney has said Tigerseal is the one and the only one for the job really, just make sure that everything lines up perfect, not like when I had mine done and the damn thing overlapped the towing eye cap! It took me 3hrs to get the damn thing off (this was 12months later though).

    I got mine from eBay, not sure about Halfords but you could try.
