Red Led Constantly On

Featured Replies

hi.

Between display and 0mph on dashboard we have red light that tell us about something important to check.
I had bonnet opened for some time but I managed to get bonnet catch out and realised that there no two metal pins that suppose to go into that plug thing so instead I put small wire to close the circuit and cheat the computer. Bonnet opened message is gone but the light is still on. No other messages left to deal with.
what else can I do ??

there should be a message if that red light is on. maybe you just dismissed the message? if so just go through the menu until you see the message, or turn the key off and back on

all done now :-) I put that small wire again when ignition was OFF
Closed all door etc and turned key in II position and everything is back to normal.
All I need is bonnet catch with two pins that will go into that plug.
I think previous owner replaced bonnet catch without paying enough attention
