Was not sure how to title this topic!!

2007 fiesta zetec problem with the driver seat sometimes not going forward when you lift the handle at the top of the seat. At other times the seat will flip forward but then next time it's not moving at all. I don't want to force it and break anything.

Is it something I can check, can you get at any of the bits or are they all inside the seat?

Would this be an issue that is covered under 3 year warranty?

Any advice gratefully received!
