Door Chime When Lights Are Left On

Featured Replies

I have a problem on my 1999 Mondeo Ghia X 2.5 v6 24v Hatchback. The chime that lets you know that you have left the lights on when you open the drivers door has stopped working and I can find no reference to where it is located on the car. I have been told that it may be in the light switch, under the dash on the right and that it might be under dash on the left and behind the drop down fuse panel can anybody help me to find and repair it please.

Do you know anyone else who as same model as you? Or when you do see one of the same, ask the owner to activate his/her light and try to isolate the whereabouts of the speaker buzzer sound. Hope this helps

when you open the door, do the interior lights come on? or does the door ajar light work?
