Intermittent Warm Start Probem

I have a 2006 Ford Focus 1.8 Diesel Sport which has a very annoying warm start problem

For a few months now the drivetrain warning light comes on after approx a mile of driving. This makes no difference to the driving of the car and when you turn the car off the light goes out. When you start the car again the same repeats itself you drive for around a mile light comes on etc etc.

Back a few months ago the car also started having an intermittent problem starting. I changed the fuel filter had what seems to be the usual problem bleeding the system but once i did the problem seemed to be solved.

Now as of yesterday the car will just refuse to start once it is up to temperature. Cold starting not an issue! Also when the car is running it is flawless except for drivetrain warning light coming on.

Has anyone any ideas?
