Dab/fm Signal

Featured Replies

I have the sony unit, what i want to know is when moving how do you leave it on DAB

as if the signal goes low it goes onto FM,i just want it to stay on DAB even if the signal

goes for a while as when it goes to FM it goes a lot louder,i have looked but aint got

a clue on the setting.

You need to turn off a setting, think it's DAB service link but I'm in the office and not the car right now so can't quite remember!

Switch off alt frequency

Just done that what you said.

Seen the DAB service link and left that ticked.

Arob.sco is right, switch off the DAB Service Link.

The alternative frequecy option is only for FM.

I'd like to know the exact opposite, because mine would stay on DAB so I had to put up with lots of complete loss of radio signal. I switched to FM permanently and it's much more reliable, it's just that DAB has clearer sound especially in the higher frequencies. It would be good to have it use DAB then switch to FM automatically when the digital signal is poor, so I'll have a look into that setting.

Lol,one off and other back on.

If signal does start to go off and on bad it's the old FM.

Sure there is a top aerial to pick up a better signal, mine is good but not A1

Tried small aerial which is the stubby one by ford and worse, even phone plays up.

Was the small aerial the same as the focus st one? I only noticed the st was smaller a few days ago.
