Hi thanks for the acceptance. I am here after some advice.

I own a 2010 ford focus estate 1.6tdci. 31000 miles.

Whenever i am in 4th/5th gear at between 45mph and 60mph i hear a noise that sounds like a belt slipping or air rushing out of somthing (its very hard to describe the noise) it does it moreso going uphill. Im going to take it to my mate who is a mechanic next weekend. Any ideas of possible areas to explore. Thanks tom
