D900 Dtc On Dash (2010 1.6 Petrol Focus)

Featured Replies

Hi,

DId something with my OBD2 adaptor the other day on the car and no DTCs reported.

Was mucking about with the dash today and noticed a D900 DTC.

Anyone know what this one is, please?

Thanks

D

It's not a trouble code dtc 900

I've read somewhere that it's a tamper code. I haven't tampered with anything, just changed the battery recently and plugged the OBD2 in to check DTCs and measured some water temp value.

No MIL lamp on, either...

DTC means Diagnostic Trouble Code & is the SAE standard

Actually my mistake dtc900 is a pats comm error and can be flagged up just from stalling it clears after so many successful starts of the car

It's from plugging in or unplugging your OBD device, I caused it myself once unplugging the cable with the ignition still on. Nothing to worry about anyway. :)
