yeah will be fine,

Disconnect battery to optimize results as this resets the mass air flow perimeters

however prior to disconnecting battery ensure you have the radio code to hand.

Also make sure u mark angle of maf so it sits the same otherwise can throw engine management fault

Is that both battery cables or just the positive? And how long to leave it disconnected?

Anyone able to tell me the correct procedure?

Just the one needs disconnecting mate and leave it like that for 30 min

I've had an exhaust fitted which has no catalyst and a duel exit so in theory my mpg should be higher correct? Will resetting the ECU make it utilizes the exhaust fully? With the stock exhaust I get 30mpg but so far its 25mpg :(. It's also a petrol

May be wrong but You'll actually find your mpg will be worse I think as it's breathing easier and thus injecting more fuel as it's getting the air out quicker. Depends on your driving style too tbh and the temperature as colder air is denser than warm thus more air in the cylinders. But doing the above will definitely help towards resetting ecu to adjust to your driving style. Just make sure you have radio code to hand

I'm noticing increased mpg since fitting the K&N57s and replacing fuel filter when drivin easy get 63mpg 😀 #GoFurther
