1.8 Tdci Turbo Lag

Featured Replies

Turning into a 90 degree corner to enter motor and getting lag for about 3-4 seconds the it goes.Had remap few weeks ago but hasnt helped in that part but normal straight line drning bit better with map.Egr has been blanked and no hole in the 90 degree pipe as just replaced with silicone one, dont know about pipes behind turbo as hard to see with lack of access.

Mine is quite laggy too and doesn't seem to boost much I was going to get mine remapped, is it worth doing? I'm thinking mine might have a boost leak from somewhere although I have had a look and all the pipes seem to be ok

Well worth remapping, once turbo kicks in it takes of like poo of a shovel, maybe different remapper can phase out the lag. Will need to check pipes, quite hard to get to if plastic cover in windscreen is on
