Gowingnator
Hey everyone :) Newbie here! Just looking for an answer to this question, where do I locate my Heater Blower Transistor on my Ford Fiesta LX 2003? I've looked behind the glove box (as many people in other forums have suggested) and I've taken the passenger side panel off. Can't see it. Here's some pictures.... Many thanks
SeanW
The resistor pack? Try drivers side footwell, go in towards the centre from the top of the clutch pedal. A torch and a mirror might make it easier to find. Last one I changed saw me upside down in the drivers seat trying to get at it :D

SeanW
I can't see it on that pic It's been a while since I did one, but from what I remember, the the thing is held in by 2 screws onto a bracket on the bulkhead The plug is on the right (as you sit looking out the windscreen), with the body of the resistor pointing towards the passenger side

iantt
How did you check it was warm? The idea is when its fitted in position, the blower motor cools the resistor with air flow.

Because, I took out the white adaptor, put in the resistor, can't put it back into the black housing, can't even unscrew the housing .... Gowingnator
All done! After about 30 minutes in total, managed to get the screws out! No overheating I'm sure! Thank you everyone for the advice and such :) Much appreciated
