Mk6 Fiesta Gear Selector Cables

Featured Replies

OK so took mine out and pair out from scrappy (ballache)

Is there an easyer way to get them back in without trying to push them through I tiny hole between heatshields between bulkhead and exhaust heat shield?

easier if you unbolt the heat shield from the floor and slide it backwards, think theres 4 bolts or nuts holding it in place.

So the heatshield on the bulkhead?

The fiesta in scrappy had no cat on it so there was flex in the exhaust moving downwards so could make a bigger gap but was still tight.

Tried putting them back in mine tonight and had no chance! Lol

Ah ok didn't realise it went back that far! Al be doing that then I think. This forum is ace! And now I own a fully working (except this) and 12months mot I will be making a bigger contribution to this forum, as a mechanic and engine reconditioner of 10 years I could be of some help to others, and now I own a mk6 fiesta I can start getting familiar with the model too.

Thankyou guys will try this im morning ready for MOT at 11am
