Hi i have a mk3 focus estate and the parking sensors have stopped working i believe its a common fault , is this an easy fix or is this gonna be costly as im sending it in for its first service and dont know whethwer to get the garage to fix them

    Check the fuses in the box behind the panel on the left side of the boot.

    they are factory fit , the display gives a warning malfuntion and beeps when you start up

    Put in reverse with ignition on .....get down on hands and knees ...yes really put your ear to each sensor healthy sensors give a ticking noise .....that's what I did with mine noticing means duff sensor and gives long error tone on start up easy to fit mine came body colour from dealer too.

    top tip indeed i,ve pinpointed the one thats faul;ty and looked like a complete eejit in the process in the carpark at work , next question is where do i get one and how much ?

    Ford dealers give them your registration number mine came body painted ...around 30 quid .. ish
