After Market Cruise Control

Featured Replies

As per the title, has anybody had after market cruise control fitted to their Focus (2011). If you have, can you give me a rough idea of how much it costs and where you got it from? I'd also be interested on how you find using it.

I will be driving up and down the M1 twice a week for about 200 miles and want to be more fuel efficient and a little lazier!

Thanks

I can't help with the fitting, but I find c.c. invaluable on longer journeys, especially motorways, & if you can do it & at sensible cost you'll not regret it

Being 2011, is your car the MK2.5 or MK3?

for the MK2.5 all you will need is the 4 spoke steering wheel with the cruise control buttons and ELMConfig and the cable to code it in.

Mk3 all you need is steering wheel switch and modify existing wheel ot buy wheel with switch already there, and a little wiring harness in wheel, search jw1982 cruise fitting guide, will need programming in also

I have the MK3. I will not have a clue where to start fitting it myself. Would a garage fit it if I provided all the parts?
