Has anyone fitted aftermarket xenon lights to a mk 3 focus, do I need to buy a bulb holder? Or can I modify the existing one?

    Just get some better halogens.

    I'm afraid that's no longer true, I used to say the same until proven wrong.

    They're still a silly upgrade in 1.) Reflectors designed for halogen or 2.) A reflector light with a cut off

    As the beam pattern is still firing off everywhere, it's just been stopped in places. But the light is Just being wasted.. where as 1.) Reflectors designed for HIDs and 2.) Projectors concentrate the light making it more efficient/powerful

    The point remains the same. You ARE better off getting decent halogen bulbs & saving yourself the hassle :)
