Servicing Benefits?

Featured Replies

Car booked in for service at jennings ford in few weeks, been a while since had car serviced because of work car past 4 years and had petrol cars previously, is there any great benefit to it i.e quiter engine, less turbo lag, smoother drive etc to getting service done

1.8 tdci

cheers

Less likely to go wrong on you for a start.

Depends how long since it has been serviced.

If the air filter is caked you'll find better responsiveness and power once it is replaced. Oil change usually loosens engine up a bit.

Oil filter and oil change should be done at least every 12 months if you don't want issues later down the line.

Oh and free breakdown through a Ford dealer.
