Travelpilot Fx Sat Nav Not Functioning

Hi this is my first post... Hello to all.

I have recently bought a Ford Focus 1.6 TDCI Sport and am very happy with it.

I am however completely lost with the Sat Nav i can't get it to work.

I believe the model installed is:

hqdefault.jpg

I insert the sd card in the slot

Version 4.1 but nothing happens

I go to the settings etc... and i can't get it to do anything.

when i select map or Nav it says select settings and activate, i am unable to do this...

The software version on my unit is (as taken from screen info)

SW_Main 0828_090731

SW_Nav unknown

How can i resolve this please?

Do i need to update the unit etc...really is driving me a little crazy
