deerhunter
Hi guy, 01 Focus 16v Zetec. I have the small key without buttons (new remote key on order) but this won't lock or unlock the car from the drivers door but will lock and unlock from the passenger's door. This key starts the car and works fine, Why would this happen? Any advice welcome. Cheers
Ian1965
It could be that the car has a different drivers door lock
deerhunter
The key turns and you can hear the locks locking but immediately unlocking.
Dan62
It would appear the passenger central door locking motor is not working.
deerhunter
Do you mean the drivers door? Just it locks as do all the locks from the passengers side.
Dan62
The passenger door motor is not moving. When you lock or unlock the drivers door because the passenger door motor hasn't moved the central locking will set the doors to the same as the faulty door, either locked or unlocked.
