Wing Mirror Indicator Replacement Egg

Recommended Posts

Hi,

2011 Focus Sport

Someone has bashed my drivers side wing mirror cracking the plastic black frame which I'm sure I can glue.

But the main damage is the entire indicator part has come out just leaving the bulb.

I've seen this as a replacement.

Is it the correct one and HOW simple is it to pit in.

Thanks

I can't see a Ford finis number with that one, but it looks identical to this, http://www.fordpartsuk.com/shop/ford_focus_door_mirror_signal_lens_and_housing_rh_2007_f_1538489_c_683.htm

Assuming it's the same as the earlier fitment. You'll need to remove the mirror cover first, connect the wiring up; the indicator housing then will slot in the aperture and put the mirror cover back on .

You might want to look at Brigante's guide on the fitting the earlier type, http://www.fordownersclub.com/forums/tutorials/article/36-guide-to-fitting-wing-mirror-repeaters-to-mk2-focus-pre-facelift/

the principal should be the same on yours
