Before I start this lets be clear that I know all about the legality or not of this so can we concentrate on the actual topic, thanks.

So my HIDs have given up and I've had to revert back to halogen for the time being whilst I decide what to get next.

During my research of the latest upgrades I have come across the now realistic option of LED bulb conversion not just a cheapo chav bulbs but a proper kit similar to the HID one. These kits seem very popular in the states and can of course be source from China for half the price.

This is the kit I've seen at HIDs direct in Manchester who I've bought from several times and always been happy. They are pretty expensive and so before buying i wondered if anyone had any experience of them and how good or bad they are?

    Well I've done lots of reading and watched a ton of YouTube videos mainly by annoying Americans and the consensus seems to be that HIDs are the best all round option with better overall range and brightness so that will be the way I'm going again.

    I think LED kits will improve with time but at the minute they're not quite good enough
